This behavior occurs when the Precept Touch cannot communicate with your smart device, or if it thinks your smart device is on the inside of the door. Make sure your smart device is turned on, that Bluetooth is enabled, and that the Precept app is running.
If the Precept Touch continues to not respond, force close the Precept app and restart it.
